Hey there, follow up on this morning's post, and my take-away.
The four o'clock deadline changed to eight tomorrow morning. And you know what they say. If you end up with more time you waste it.
But I was able to keep my 6:30 about the boat. It's pretty, but it doesn't come with a trailer; so I am not interested. I got to take some nice pictures of an old farm that's about to be torn down to be replaced with ten houses. The owner apparently received a somewhat obscene amount of money; so he doesn't seem too bothered.
I also spoke with Shelly, but wasn't left with anything complete. But I'm getting to bed “on time,” whatever that means.
I guess the take-away is that I need to find a way to build in urgency. I'm just not motivating as I should, and maybe I'm not on the best mission, but it's good enough, and like 99.999999% of people are forgotten to humanity anyway, and after humanity, it will be 100%; so I wonder what the hell I matter anyway, and there's some freedom in that.
Anyway, love you all. Have a great (rest of your) week.
Oh and Sharleen, I did say kaddish for your dad on Shabbat. I don't know if others did, and I know it was a bit late, but you got a few in.
People are forgotten to humanity as a whole, but not to others in their field there are many people who lived simple lives and were remembered only for their observations, and some did gruntwork so well methods we’re named after them.
Love you too.
